The GWC USA Trunnion Ball Valve - Bolted Body is a side entry trunnion mounted ball valve for pipeline and severe-service isolation. The ball is fixed on trunnions, so line pressure loads the seats against the ball for reliable sealing at low operating torque.
A two or three piece bolted body gives access for field repair with standard tools, with double block and bleed, single or double piston effect seats, an anti-blow out stem, and an anti-static device. Firesafe certification to API-607, 6FA, and ISO 10497, spring loaded seats, and sealant injection round out the design.
Available in sizes 2" through 56" and ASME Class 150 through 2500 and API 2000 through 15000, the valve is built to API 6D, 6DSS, and 6A and ASME B16.34. Full and reduced bore, carbon, alloy, and stainless materials, and NACE MR-01-75 construction suit general to severe service.

LOW TORQUE AT HIGH PRESSURE
Because the ball is fixed on trunnions, line pressure loads the seats rather than the ball, keeping operating torque low even at high pressure and large sizes. That means smaller actuators and easier manual operation than a floating design at the same rating.
DOUBLE BLOCK AND BLEED ISOLATION
The dual-seat arrangement isolates both the upstream and downstream sides and vents the body cavity between them, providing verifiable positive isolation. That supports safe maintenance and pigging without a second valve.
FIELD-REPAIRABLE BOLTED BODY
The two and three piece bolted construction opens for seat, seal, and trim service with standard tools. Downtime and cost drop because the valve does not have to be cut out or returned for overhaul.
