FLANGED FLOATING BALL VALVE
GWC USA
The GWC USA Flanged Floating Ball Valve is a free floating ball valve for reliable, fire-safe isolation across pipeline and process service. The ball floats between two seats, so line pressure energizes the downstream seat for bubble-tight shut-off in unibody and split body, full or reduced bore designs.
Fire-safe certification to API-607, a blow-out proof stem, cavity relieving seats, and an anti-static device deliver safe operation, designed and tested to ASME B16.34, BS5351, and API-6D. Carbon and stainless bodies with 316 stainless ball and stem suit general and corrosive service.
Available in ASME Class 150 through 1500, the valve carries RTFE seats and HNBR O-rings as standard, with alternate seat materials on request. RF flanged, ring joint, and butt-weld ends, NACE MR-01-75 construction, and lever, gear, or bare stem operators complete the package.
Typical Applications:
Pipeline and process isolation, on-off block service, hydrocarbon and gas lines, fire-safe required installations, sour (NACE) service, and general to severe service conditions.

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the GWC USA flanged floating ball valve performs where it counts
PRESSURE-ENERGIZED BUBBLE-TIGHT SHUT-OFF
The floating ball design uses line pressure to push the ball against the downstream seat, tightening the seal as pressure rises. That delivers bubble-tight shut-off without the added parts of a trunnion design in small to mid-size lines.
FIRE-SAFE BY DESIGN
API-607 certification and a metal seating backup mean the valve holds an effective seal even after soft seats are compromised by fire. That protects the line and surrounding equipment in an upset.
SAFE, RELIABLE OPERATION
The blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, and cavity relieving seats work together to keep the valve safe under pressure cycling and thermal expansion. Reliability stays high across long service intervals.
MATERIALS FOR CORROSIVE SERVICE
Stainless steel body and trim options with NACE-compliant construction resist corrosion and sour-service cracking. One valve family covers both general industrial and demanding oilfield conditions.
