COMPACT BODY (TWIN BALL) TRUNNION BALL VALVE

The GWC USA Compact Body (Twin Ball) Trunnion Ball Valve delivers true double block and bleed by housing two trunnion mounted ball valves in a single body. The two balls replace a pair of separate valves and the spool between them, cutting face-to-face length, weight, and installed cost.

The space between the two balls carries a drain valve, so the upstream and downstream sides are completely isolated with a verifiable vent point. Each ball keeps the full side entry feature set, including independent seat rings, piston effect seats, and soft or metal seats, with any type of actuation.

Available in sizes 1" through 36" and ASME Class 150 through 2500, the valve is designed to API 6D and built to ASME B16.34. Full and reduced bore, firesafe seats, sealant injection, and NACE MR-01-75 construction complete the package.

Typical Applications:
Double block and bleed service, metering and custody transfer skids, pipelines and gathering systems, space and weight constrained installs, offshore and onshore facilities, and manual or automated block service.

TWO VALVES IN ONE BODY

Housing two balls in a single body delivers true double block and bleed without installing two separate valves and a connecting spool. That removes flanges, gaskets, and leak paths from the run.

REDUCED FACE-TO-FACE, WEIGHT, AND COST

The compact body shortens the installed length and cuts weight compared with two valves in series, easing support and installation. Material and installation costs drop while isolation capability stays the same.

VERIFIABLE ISOLATION WITH INTEGRAL DRAIN

The drain valve between the two balls isolates the upstream and downstream sides completely and provides a vent point to confirm the seal. That supports safe maintenance and custody transfer without added fittings.

FULL SIDE-ENTRY FEATURE SET PER BALL

Each ball keeps the complete feature set of a side entry valve, including independent seat rings, piston effect seats, and soft or metal seats. The compact design gives up nothing in sealing capability or configurability.
